Supported independent living (SIL) is one of the services that Tibii provide for people with disability
Supported Independent Living in Adelaide
Tibii assists persons with disabilities, their families, carers, and support coordinators in Adelaide with flexible living arrangements and support plans to enable them live as independently as possible.
Our SIL service is based on the specific and shared needs of our participants, and frequently includes 24-hour support with either passive or active nighttime care. Participants with complex support needs are also included in their local community, participating in activities of their choice while receiving the greatest level of care, thanks to SIL in Adelaide
We also provide tenancy support to clients who wish to live in shared accommodation, with a variety of board alternatives available. For example, a fortnightly board and lodging price covers the costs of rent, food, utilities, and shared furniture, among other things.
We offer the following forms of support to SIL participants, all of which are tailored to the individual's support needs and personal independence goals. These can include things like:
Meal planning, following a recipe, and grocery shopping are all aspects of cooking.
Cleaning, gardening, and other household chores are just a few examples,
Personal hygiene practices, prescription administration, and medical and allied health appointments,
outcome-specific learning at home and implementing therapy suggestions, as well as transportation to community events and activities of your choice.
We collaborate with potential new participants, advocates, and support coordinators to ensure that Tibii can provide you with the resources you need to reach your life goals.
