Emma Faehrmann

Support Coordination Manager

I am a Registered Nurse, Reiki Master and mother to two wonderful children who I see as my greatest teachers. We are on the NDIS journey ourselves since my daughter always felt different and asked to be assessed for autism when she was 8 years old.  Completing the diagnostic process for my daughter helped me see aspects of my own lived experience through a new lens and my own (ASD/ADHD) and my son's (ASD/ADHD) diagnoses followed closely along behind. My daughter was delighted when she received her diagnosis, she cried "I knew it mum!", we take a very neuro-affirming approach. We are grateful for the support that we receive from the NDIS and I am grateful for my knowledge in navigating the system for myself and my children.

My children’s health challenges when they were small led me down a wholistic medicine path, studying Integrative Medicine and finding natural and alternative ways to support our wellbeing. I spent many years as a Reiki healer, teacher and community builder before being called to return to my work as a Registered Nurse in the community.  I was asked by many who saw a need for high quality service to branch into the Support Coordination space then was offered the opportunity to support with building Tibii SC in 2021.I have a burning passion to bring a completely wholistic lens to those we support. I am grateful that as Support Coordinators we get to support people to not only engage their NDIS funded supports, but also to activate their informal (friends, family, community) and mainstream (medicine, housing etc) supports.

This speaks deeply to my belief that human beings are impacted by the ecosystem which they live within, and to truly address their barriers to thriving, we need to address the barriers to their whole ecosystem. I value efficiency and relationship above all, and we work hard to get the right match in services when supporting our clients and their families to build an effective and cohesive team around them. We are always seeking ways to innovate and improve. We operate through the Human Rights Model of Disability, Leadership and Management and have a big vision to encourage the disability sector (and beyond) to follow suit.

We see our participants and their families as equals and support you to meet your goals and your vision for your own life, and to help you see the magnificent and unique person that you are. Not taking new clients currently.  Please see staff pages for SC/SSC with current capacity and/or contact via our referral form, email or phone (call or text).
